The Mission

At Life On Music, our mission is to unlock music's transformative power for positive change. We believe music holds the key to build confidence, achieve milestones, and cultivate a sense of belonging. We strive to harness the power of music to create an inclusive community where individuals can form meaningful connections that transcend boundaries and enrich lives.

Our approach is grounded in the understanding of music's ability to engage multiple areas of the brain simultaneously and serves as the foundation for our work. This unique quality of music allows our music therapy programs to offer a distinct opportunity for learning essential life skills. Through music therapy, we aim to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress, enhance attention, memory, and executive function, and facilitate development in motor skills, speech, social interaction, emotional regulation, and impulse control.

Regulation

Through our music therapy programs, we cultivate an environment of safety, grounding, and acceptance, essential for fostering self-regulation. By nurturing self-regulation, we lay the foundation for effective learning, joyful play, and meaningful connections.

Motivation

Music serves as a powerful motivator, essential for effective learning. Its playful, expressive, and organized nature provides the perfect platform for taking risks, building confidence, and achieving success. We recognize the intrinsic connection between music and motivation, and we leverage this connection to ignite the spark of growth within each individual we serve.

Connection

We believe that music provides a unique avenue for fostering connection and building meaningful relationships. Through the shared experience of music, individuals can transcend barriers and connect on a deep, emotional level. Whether through collaborative music performances, group music therapy sessions, or interactive music-making activities, we create spaces where individuals can come together, support one another, and form lasting connections.
